Kelli Rowsey-Program Challenge and Advanced 5th Grade Math

Hello My Name Is...

  Ms. Kelli Rowsey

Ms. Rowsey was born to be a teacher!  Following in her mother’s thirty-seven year legacy as a high school communications educator in St. Louis, Missouri, Ms. Rowsey is entering her 29th year teaching grades 3-8.  For the past 13 years, she has been educating students in Douglas County Schools at Chestnut Log Middle, Stewart Middle, and New Manchester Elementary Schools in multiple subjects with science as the primary subject.  This year, she has the pleasure of educating the Gifted students in Program Challenge!

She is always actively involved in the schools where she teaches and has been recognized for her hard work and dedication by being named Teacher of the Year for both Stewart (2012-2013) and Chestnut Log (2016-2017) Middle Schools and as the Douglas County Middle School n Teacher of the Year 2016-2017. She has been nominated at NMES several times as well.

She is very committed to her students and her school.  As she joins the New Manchester Eagles again this year, she is excited to take students on a journey beyond the four walls of the classroom by challenging, pushing and pulling them to think, create, innovate, design, investigate, and collaborate to explore the world around them.

You will always find Ms. Rowsey soaring while teaching others to spread their wings and fly!
